Our Cape Cod Recommendations!
Our Favorite Beaches
Chatham Lighthouse Beach
To visit Lighthouse Beach we recommend dropping off beach supplies, parking at Chatham Valet ($15 for the day, 365 Main St, Chatham) and taking their shuttle over. It runs every 15-20 minutes!
Nauset Beach
There are two ways to visit Nauset and we love both! The first is to drive to 250 Beach Rd, Orleans, MA and park ($30 per car) and walk onto the beach. The second (more adventurous and much more private) way is to take the Chatham Beachcomber shuttle to North Beach Island ($25 per person) and set up camp! This is actually the island you can see from Lighthouse Beach!
Plenty of Other Beaches!
One of the great things about the Cape is that there are a ton of beaches to visit. If you have a favorite beyond these two, text us and let us know! We’d be happy to check it out (and we'll give you a shout out if we add it here).

Our Cape Trip Musts
Stop at Tree House
Brewery in Sandwich
Fun Fact: Of all the breweries we’ve been to, Tree House is our favorite, specifically the one in Sandwich. Right on the water and convenient to get to on the way on or off Cape, we always stop and grab quite a few beers to go. Careful, they’re strong!
Walk Downtown Chatham
We love to walk and shop in downtown Chatham. Candy Manor, Yankee Ingenuity, Ducks In The Window, and the Mayflower are must-shops for us, but there are a ton of great shops that make the trip worth it! Be sure to stop into The Squire for a beer (and their new shop for merch) while you’re in town too!
Shop at Cuffy’s
A Cape Cod sweatshirt from Cuffy’s is a classic! We went to the newly expanded West Dennis flagship location and absolutely loved it. It’s 4 or 5 different buildings that they have combined into one Disney-esque sweatshirt / kitchen / candy store. It’s worth stopping in!
